Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Monte Casanova (ranked 6191 p4p, 117 weight class) and Jeff Rinaldi (ranked 8778 p4p, 141 weight class). Jeff Rinaldi will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Casanova is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Rinaldi's half guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Casanova has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Casanova remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Casanova cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Casanova has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Rinaldi's face.

It looks like Jeff Rinaldi has been cut.
Rinaldi is bucking up trying to escape but Casanova cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Casanova won't let Rinaldi get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.

Casanova postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Rinaldi badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Casanova around the waist but Casanova pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Casanova is the winner by TKO! Casanova jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Monte Casanova!
A very excited looking Monte Casanova rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
