Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Garuda Eagle (ranked 5644 p4p, 613 weight class) and Tom Bink (ranked 5712 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Garuda Eagle!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tom Bink!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bink looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Eagle is fending him off so far but Bink persists. Nope, Eagle circles away and we're back to standing.
Eagle thows a leg kick but Bink checks it

and Bink counters with a takedown into side control.
Eagle is not in a great position here, taking some shots.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Bink accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Eagle could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Bink working over Eagle with some ground and pound. Eagle looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.

Bink slips a nice elbow through Eagle's hands, connecting with Eagle's forehead.

Bink looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

Eagle has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Bink can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Eagle is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Eagle can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Bink controls the pace.

Eagle might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Eagle has his foot on Bink's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Bink works his way back into a safe position though.

Eagle is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Bink is aware though and is defending well.
Bink is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
It looks like Bink might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bink ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Eagle moves away.

Bink closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Eagle quickly recovers to half guard.

The fighters are battling for position here. Eagle manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Bink stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Eagle has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! Bink manages to get his head free but now Eagle has transitioned to an armbar! Bink grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Eagle! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:49 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Garuda Eagle!
