Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kyotaro Sujimoto!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, William Peck and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jang shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Sujimoto manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Jang controlling from the top position.
Sujimoto really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jang. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Jang seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Sujimoto for as long as he can get away with.
Sujimoto is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Jang keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Sujimoto's head.

Sujimoto is looking to stand up but Jang isn't so interested in that idea.

Jang looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

Sujimoto is looking to escape.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Sujimoto pushes Jang off looking to stand but Jang dives back in and keeps control.
Jang has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Sujimoto defend it? Jang steps over the head and cranks it - Sujimoto is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Jang!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). James Jang!
A relieved looking James Jang thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
