Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Tabatabai (ranked 749 p4p, 72 weight class) and Milton Friedman (ranked 1133 p4p, 119 weight class). The key to victory for John Tabatabai has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, John Tabatabai!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Milton Friedman!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Jorge Garcia and Reed Andrews.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Friedman missing with a left hand there. Tabatabai was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Tabatabai wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.

Tabatabai has been working on his boxing with his coaches at WildBoar's Pig Pen (Strength and Conditioning) $40 in the buildup to the fight.
John Tabatabai has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Milton Friedman.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Friedman is trying to drag Tabatabai to the mat but Tabatabai just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
