The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick by Batts Jr misses
and Bluth counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Batts Jr walks into a stiff left hand from Bluth.
Batts Jr lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.

and Bluth counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Bluth misses with an uppercut. Batts Jr saw that one coming.
Batts Jr lands with a thumping leg kick.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Bluth, as that shot connected.

enabling Bluth to counter with a crisp jab.

letting Bluth counter with a right hand.
Oh Batts Jr is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Batts Jr throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Bluth looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Batts Jr seems to have got his legs back now.
Batts Jr throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Bluth smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Bluth scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Batts Jr fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Bluth.
Batts Jr ducks under a wild hook from Bluth.
Bluth moves out of range of the leg kick from Batts Jr.

and Bluth counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Bluth cracks Batts Jr with an uppercut from hell and Batts Jr crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Bluth's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Batts Jr is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Bluth scores with a couple of nice shots.

Still in half guard, Bluth seems content to control.

Batts Jr has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Bluth is working away from the top position though.

Bluth takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Batts Jr tries to get to full guard but Bluth has control of the leg.
Batts Jr has hold of Bluth's hands but Bluth slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Still in half guard, Bluth seems content to control.
Bluth is nestled in close to Batts Jr, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Batts Jr is looking for a sweep. Bluth is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Bluth looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Bluth slips a nice elbow through Batts Jr's hands, connecting with Batts Jr's forehead.
Bluth lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Batts Jr has a hand on Bluth's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Bluth takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!

Bluth is in full mount looking to finish with strikes. He lands a big shot, followed by another and Batts Jr goes limp! The ref jumps in to end the fight - a big win for Bluth!
