Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Rashid Magomedov (ranked 7873 p4p, 0 weight class) and Albert Aliev (ranked 25837 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Magomedov fails to land the takedown.
Magomedov really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Magomedov misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Magomedov has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Aliev.
Aliev avoids the head kick by Magomedov.
As Magomedov backs off Aliev throws a huge counter combo but Magomedov manages to avoid it all.
Aliev fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Magomedov sprawls well initially but Aliev persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Magomedov is trying is best to control the position here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Aliev with the ground and pound but Magomedov uses the opportunity to regain guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Aliev is posturing up here but Magomedov has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Aliev tries to roll out but it's too tight and Aliev has to tap! Slick submission there by Magomedov!
