The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bink misses with a body shot.
Calaranti looks for a takedown but Bink sprawls well.

As Bink looks to move away, Calaranti throws a big counter combo but Bink just gets out of the way.

Calaranti clinches up with Bink and pushes him back against the cage.
Bink gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Calaranti.
Bink tries to pull guard but Calaranti forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Jeremy Bink seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bink swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Bink dives in for a single leg takedown but Calaranti sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Calaranti throws a chopping leg kick but Bink manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Calaranti shoots in looking for a takedown. Bink tries to sprawl out of it but Calaranti keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Bink manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Calaranti shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Bink pinned against the cage. Bink gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Calaranti is looking to counter the offense by Bink and move into the clinch.
Calaranti fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Calaranti tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Bink swivels and escapes.
Bink throws the left hand but Calaranti avoids the punch easily.
Calaranti feints a jab promting Bink to slip. Calaranti then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Bink slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Horrible takedown attempt by Calaranti or perhaps it was just good defense by Bink, which made it look bad.

Bink swings for the body but Calaranti moves out of range.
Bink keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Calaranti dives in and grabs Bink's left leg, looking for a takedown. Bink pushes down on Calaranti's head and hops out.
Bink looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

Bink is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
