The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cide closes the distance and pushes OQuinn back into the cage.
A nice right hand lands inside from Cide.
OQuinn is breathing heavily.
The referee calls for Cide to work.

OQuinn has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Cide lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Oh OQuinn is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Cide connects with a big uppercut there that sends OQuinn tumbling to the ground! Cide follows him down into his guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Cide stands and throws OQuinn's legs to the side, diving into side control.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Cide is working to tighten his grip on OQuinn's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. OQuinn has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Cide is really squeezing tight and eventually OQuinn passes out! Cide breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
