Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mauro Carnera (ranked 2298 p4p, 303 weight class) and Kurt Wagner (ranked 3681 p4p, 461 weight class). Carnera's entrance music is Bad Religion - Infected. A fine choice. Wagner has chosen No Easy Way Out as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Mauro Carnera!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kurt Wagner!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Damien Edna and Skip Squint.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some bone on bone action there as Carnera checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Wagner gets a clinch.
Carnera lands with a light punch inside.
Wagner tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Carnera smiles and moves away.
Wagner has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Carnera is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Wagner throws a lazy uppercut
and Carnera connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Wagner throws a right hand that misses
and Carnera counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Wagner fails with an attempt to clinch.
Carnera on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Wagner tries to close the distance and clinch but Carnera swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
A little feinted left hand from Carnera on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Wagner throws a lazy right hand but Carnera sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Carnera is looking to counter punch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Wagner shoots and misses
and Carnera counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Wagner tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Carnera counters with a nice body shot.
Wagner tries to score with a low kick but Carnera moves his leg out of the way.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Wagner throws a hook to the side of Carnera's head but Carnera sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Wagner throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Carnera makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Wagner fails with the takedown
letting Carnera counter with a right hand.
Mauro Carnera has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kurt Wagner.
Wagner tries to clinch up.
It looked like Carnera was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Wagner.
Carnera slips a jab and a cross from Wagner.
Carnera looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Wagner waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Carnera.
Wagner throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Wagner looks to clinch
and Carnera counters with a crisp right that sends Wagner to the canvas! Carnera follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
