The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good exchange - Cassidy coming out on top.
Rodolfo Augustine seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Augustine tries to close the distance and clinch but Cassidy swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Augustine misses with a two punch combination.
Augustine swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

so Cassidy counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Cassidy thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Augustine wants to sweep here but Cassidy controlling him for the moment.

Cassidy drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Cassidy jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Cassidy drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Cassidy seems to have locked his on tight now - Augustine screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Cassidy, as he picks up the win!
