Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Will Silva (ranked 5377 p4p, 231 weight class) and Perdue Willshire (ranked 23964 p4p, 348 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Willshire fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Silva, pushing him back against the cage.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Willshire darts in looking for a takedown but Silva gets double underhooks and turns Willshire into the cage.

As Willshire backs away, Silva returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.

Silva sets himself, and Willshire steps forward looking for the clinch! Silva avoids it this time.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Willshire has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Silva throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Silva shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Willshire eats them both and turns towards Silva to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
