Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Samuel Cooke (ranked 1337 p4p, 164 weight class) and Edvard Grieg (ranked 2803 p4p, 312 weight class). Cooke kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Harm's Way - Warriors Will Reign. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grieg closes the distance and clinches up with Cooke, looking for a takedown. Grieg pushes Cooke against the cage but Cooke circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Grieg's corner calls for a 1-2. Grieg obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Grieg scores with a jab.
Samuel Cooke seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cooke throws a wild body kick that Grieg sees coming a mile off.
Cooke misses with an uppercut
and Grieg counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Cooke is rocked!
Grieg throws an overhand right that lands on Cooke's shoulder, as Cooke tries to avoid the shot.
Cooke takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Oh Cooke is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Grieg avoids the head kick by Cooke.

Grieg takes the fight into the clinch.
Grieg on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Grieg lands a nice uppercut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Cooke has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Grieg tries to throw a body punch but Cooke avoids it by throwing Grieg back against the cage.
Grieg unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Cooke! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Grieg is unloading with more strikes now! Cooke drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!
