Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Scotty Tuote (ranked 3492 p4p, 375 weight class) and Idont Know (ranked 4997 p4p, 500 weight class). Idont Know is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Ben Watson and Donatello Bradman.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Know moves out of range of the strikes.
Tuote throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Tuote has closed the distance and engaged Know in a clinch.
Know tries to pull guard but Tuote holds him up against the cage and eventually Know drops back down to his feet.
Tuote with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.
Know jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Tuote walks away with a smile on his face. Know gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Tuote throws a leg kick but Know sees it coming and moves out of range.
Know tries to counter with a clinch but Tuote shakes him off and moves away.
Know keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Know tries to clinch there but Tuote circles away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Know closes the distance and clinches up with Tuote, looking for a takedown. Know pushes Tuote against the cage but Tuote circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
A little feinted left hand from Tuote on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Scotty Tuote has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Idont Know.
Know shoots in for a takedown but Tuote shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Tuote fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

Tuote throws a body punch but Know moves out of range.
Know tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Know tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Tuote swivels and escapes.
Know moves away from the strike by Tuote.
Tuote throws a hook to the side of Know's head but Know sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Know fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Know uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Tuote.
Know tries for a takedown but Tuote sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Know is looking to clinch but Tuote is avoiding it.

and Tuote counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Tuote.

Tuote misses with a knee to the head.
Tuote is pressed up against the cage. Know has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Tuote down to the mat. Tuote avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Tuote throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Know doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Know uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Tuote.
Tuote takes a swing at Know's ribcage but misses.
Tuote throws a leg kick but Know sees it coming and checks it nicely.

Know throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Tuote's waist but Tuote gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Know off to one side.

and Tuote counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.

Know displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Tuote throws out the jab.

Know darts in looking for a takedown but Tuote gets double underhooks and turns Know into the cage.
Know misses with a takedown attempt - Tuote sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Know avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Tuote looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Know is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Tuote with a body shot.
Know goes for a double leg but Tuote avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Tuote continues to drive forward.

Tuote definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Know blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

Tuote throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Know sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Know.
Tuote is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Know can do to turn this around?

Know is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Tuote knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Know has his foot on Tuote's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Tuote works his way back into a safe position though.
Tuote is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Tuote continues to stall.

Tuote slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Know has gone for a leg lock! Tuote slips out almost immediately though and dives into Know's guard.

Know is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Tuote defends well.
Tuote not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
