Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Algot Uggla (ranked 2642 p4p, 297 weight class) and Brij Khali (ranked 9408 p4p, 712 weight class). Algot Uggla is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 35 - 82 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Brij Khali!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Robert Douchet and Dillan Fox.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Uggla pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Khali back to the cage. Uggla follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Khali dodges the punch combination from Uggla.
Uggla sets himself, and Khali steps forward looking for the clinch! Uggla avoids it this time.
A jab lands there for Uggla.
Khali takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

Uggla lands with a nice body punch.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Uggla drives through and clinches with Khali against the cage.

Uggla has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Khali is trying to keep an underhook but Uggla manages to get the takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Uggla in particular looking to stall.

Uggla maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Khali could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Uggla has cracked it and Khali is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Uggla!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Algot Uggla!
After the fight, Algot Uggla was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
Brij Khali was interviewed post fight and said 'Dissapointed to Lose'.
