The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Brekker tries to throw a body punch but Valentine avoids it by throwing Brekker back against the cage.
Valentine blocks a body shot from Brekker.
Valentine connects with a knee to the head.
Valentine lands an elbow that stopped Brekker in his tracks for a moment.
Valentine utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body.
Valentine unloads a knee to the mid-section.
Brekker looks winded!

Valentine gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.

Valentine has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Brekker defend it? Valentine steps over the head and cranks it - Brekker is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Valentine!
