PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mickey Steel (ranked 1966 p4p, 248 weight class) and Slot Waster (ranked 2037 p4p, 256 weight class). Steel comes into the arena with Accept- Balls to the wall blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Slot Waster!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Waster drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Waster fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Steel looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Waster is working for a kimura but Steel is defending it quite comfortably.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Steel makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Steel.

Steel looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Steel on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Steel tries to get out of the position.
Waster slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Waster is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Steel has escaped the position, nice work there.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Steel tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Waster is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Steel looks calm but he's in trouble here. Waster gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Steel is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Waster lets go of the hold and Steel can pop his arm back in it's socket.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Slot Waster!
Mickey Steel was interviewed post fight and said 'I think after that performance it's obvious that I don't have it anymore. I'm retiring. Thank you Dry for the opportunity to fight for your org and thank you all for supporting me!'.
