Coming up we have a middleweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Shunsui Kyoraku (ranked 3118 p4p, 364 weight class) and Moses Sithole (ranked 4813 p4p, 503 weight class). Sithole has chosen I Miss The Misery as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the middleweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of London, with a TWGC record of 5 wins and 2 losses; Shunsui Kyoraku! And in the blue corner, fighting out of London, with a TWGC record of 3 wins and 7 losses; Moses Sithole!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, James Glass and Chris Edwards.


The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Kyoraku slaps away a takedown attempt from Sithole, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Sithole fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Kyoraku tries to counter with a takedown but Sithole is quick to defend against it.

Sithole moves into range and clinches up with Kyoraku.
Kyoraku is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Sithole pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Kyoraku drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Sithole gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Kyoraku is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Shunsui Kyoraku has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Moses Sithole.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sithole has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Kyoraku avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Kyoraku wants to take the fight to the mat but Sithole manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Sithole has hold of one of Kyoraku's legs. Kyoraku is fighting the takedown attempt but Sithole gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

Sithole is pushing down on Kyoraku's leg trying to pass to half guard. Kyoraku is fighting to maintain full guard but Sithole has managed to sneak the leg through.
Sithole is taking a breather. Kyoraku says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Sithole is pressing down on Kyoraku's thigh, looking to free his foot. Kyoraku is holding on for now.
Kyoraku preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head.

Kyoraku won't allow Sithole to pass to mount.
Sithole is taking a breather. Kyoraku says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
It looks like Sithole might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

The fighters are battling for position here. Kyoraku manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Kyoraku pulls Sithole in close to his closed guard and prevents Sithole from doing any damage or advancing position.

Sithole slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Kyoraku gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.

Sithole is stalling here. Kyoraku is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Sithole seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Kyoraku has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Sithole wants to control but Kyoraku postures up.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
Sithole is trying to improve his position.
The referee asks Kyoraku politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Kyoraku prefers to stall for the moment though.

Sithole tries to improve position but can't.
Kyoraku is staying tight to Sithole's torso, preventing him from escaping.
Sithole wants to control but Kyoraku postures up.

A lull in the action here.
Sithole is looking for a sweep.

Sithole seems a little lost for a moment, as Kyoraku dominates the positioning.
Kyoraku has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Sithole tries to bench press Kyoraku off him but Kyoraku keeps the position.

That's eleven minutes gone in the round.
Kyoraku takes a little break here. Sithole wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.

Sithole struggling a bit here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kyoraku is looking to take a break and control but Sithole is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Sithole is being controlled here.

That's thirteen minutes gone in the round.
Kyoraku's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Sithole is looking for a sweep.
Kyoraku just content to control the position.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Sithole wins on points by 5 to 4.
Moses Sithole very nearly forgot to thank Anarchy Clothing amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.
