Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Qhorin Halfhand (ranked 494 p4p, 49 weight class) and Chris Runt (ranked 659 p4p, 69 weight class). Halfhand comes to the cage accompanied by Portugal. The Man - Feel It Still. Qhorin Halfhand has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Halfhand throws a push kick but Runt slaps the foot to one side.
Halfhand takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Runt lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Halfhand throws a hook to the side of Runt's head but Runt sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Runt clinches.
Runt misses with a body punch.
Halfhand throws a punch but it's blocked by Runt.
Runt misses with a hook from the clinch.
Runt lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Halfhand backwards.
Runt keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Halfhand's efforts to push away.
Halfhand scores with a nice hook to the head.

Runt looks to land a right hand but Halfhand moved out of range.

Runt moves into range and clinches up with Halfhand.
Runt tries to throw a body punch but Halfhand avoids it by throwing Runt back against the cage.

Halfhand throws a head kick but Runt moves out of range.

Halfhand lands a glancing blow to the side of Runt's head.

Halfhand throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Halfhand moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Halfhand looks to throw the jab but Runt is out of range.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Runt thuds his right hand into Halfhand's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Halfhand loads up on a big right hand but Runt slips the punch.
Runt swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Halfhand throws a big counter combination but Runt scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Halfhand misses with an uppercut. Runt saw that one coming.
Halfhand is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Runt's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems.
Halfhand goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Runt blocks a low kick nicely.
Runt misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Halfhand counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Runt sizes up Halfhand with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Halfhand checks a leg kick.
Halfhand cracks Runt with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Runt tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Halfhand pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Runt is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
