The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marley scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Marley's jab looks to have found its range, popping Kirov under the eye.
Marley throws a poor cross that misses

and Kirov counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Kirov stops Marley from standing up.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Kirov's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Kirov is working Marley over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Marley is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Kirov has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Marley stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Marley wants it to stay on the feet.
No luck for Kirov with that takedown attempt.
Marley looks to score with a jab to the body but Kirov is just out of range.

Kirov shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Kirov showed some decent athleticism there.
Marley tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Kirov manages to move to mount!

Marley tries to buck Kirov off so he can stand up but Kirov has got his back now - this could be big trouble! He's slapped on a rear naked choke that looks really tight! Marley falls backwards, slamming Kirov to the mat but Kirov holds on tight! Marley is forced to tap and this one is all over!
