Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Maddox Wood (ranked 4883 p4p, 95 weight class) and Naoise Durnin (ranked 4809 p4p, 170 weight class). Wood comes into the arena with 3 6 mafia 1 hitta quita blaring out of the sound system. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Durnin misses with a body shot.
Wood has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Durnin throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Wood uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Durnin.
Wood lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Durnin backs up against the cage.

It looks like Naoise Durnin has been cut.
Wood connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Durnin ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

and Durnin cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Naoise Durnin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Durnin cracks Wood with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Durnin has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Wood to stand back up!

Wood is breathing heavily.
Durnin connects with a body shot that sends Wood's belly button to the back.
Wood throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Durnin connects with a good right hand that stumbles Wood. Wood circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Durnin scores with a jab to the body.
Durnin fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.

Durnin cracks Wood with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Wood looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Durnin finish him?
Wood is holding his hands too far apart here. Durnin throws a hard, straight punch right down the pipe and BOOM! Wood is out! That punch landed square on the jaw - what a shot!
