Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Noad Adesanya (ranked 4391 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ray Ramano (ranked 5250 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Noad Adesanya has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Noad Adesanya!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Ray Ramano!
The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Dirk Anderson and David Hoff.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Adesanya dives in for a single leg takedown but Ramano sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Ramano is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.

Adesanya gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Ramano prevents a takedown attempt there.
Ramano misses with a short punch on the inside.
Ramano is trying to pull guard but Adesanya turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Ramano tries a body shot but Adesanya blocks it.
Ramano wants a takedown.

Adesanya drives through and clinches with Ramano against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Adesanya's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Adesanya shoots in looking for a takedown. Ramano tries to sprawl out of it but Adesanya keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Ramano manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Ramano looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Adesanya on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Adesanya tries to get out of the position.
Ramano pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Ramano lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Adesanya can't escape the position.
Adesanya is bucking up trying to escape but Ramano cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

The referee warns Adesanya that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
