The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kim cracks Brown with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Brown doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Kim counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

It looks like Minhyuk Brown has been cut.
Brown shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Kim but Kim pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Kim connects with a right hand. Brown shakes it off.
Brown looks for a takedown but Kim sprawls well.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Minhyuk Brown. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Brown changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Kim looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Kim can do anything to dispel that myth.
You can see the frustration on Kim's face as Brown controls the position.
Kim prevents Brown from moving into mount.
Brown works to advance to full mount. Kim defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Brown tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
