The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Turner shoots in for a double leg but Miller sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Turner looks for a takedown but Miller sprawls well.
And Miller tries to counter it with a takedown but Turner pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Turner ducks under a wild hook from Miller.
Miller throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
A low kick from Miller misses

and Turner counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Turner is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Turner really is a fat lump.
Turner is trying to pull guard but Miller turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Garrett Turner. That's going to take a lot out of him.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A right handed body shot lands from Turner.
Turner drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Miller gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Miller tries to score a body lock takedown but Turner shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Turner jumps guard but Miller stands there with Turner around his waist. Turner gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Miller's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Turner can't find room to land a body shot as Miller controls the action.
Miller keeps control of Turner as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Turner jumps guard but Miller stands there with Turner around his waist. Turner gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Miller working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
Turner wants to stand and escape but Miller is having none of it.
Miller lands a couple of digs.
Turner has momentary wrist control but Miller slips an elbow through the middle.
Miller not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Miller slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Miller lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Oh Turner is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Miller loads up on a big left hand. Turner felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Miller looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Turner can't hide his disappointment, as Miller celebrates the victory.
