Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between True Ogre (ranked 6135 p4p, 0 weight class) and Terror Thomas (ranked 3840 p4p, 386 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ogre has Thomas up against the cage in a clinch.
Thomas slows down the pace here.
Ogre is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Thomas pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Ogre misses with a wild combination.

Thomas feints and then cracks Ogre's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Ogre down.

Ogre is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Ogre seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Thomas is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
I really don't envy Thomas right now.

Thomas might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Ogre haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Ogre is trying to stick to Thomas's back but Thomas is turning into Ogre. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Ogre's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Thomas.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Ogre holds on and takes a little breather.
Ogre bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Thomas's guard.

Thomas wants to hit a switch here but Ogre passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Thomas there!
Thomas is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. And we move into the final round!

Ogre moves into the clinch.
Thomas tries to pull guard but Ogre won't allow it.

Thomas defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Ogre.
As Ogre backs off Thomas throws a huge counter combo but Ogre manages to avoid it all.
Ogre fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for True Ogre. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Ogre shoots in but Thomas avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Thomas flicks out a counter leg kick but Ogre steps away.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Thomas closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Ogre quickly recovers to half guard.

Thomas seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Thomas in particular looking to stall.

Ogre has one foot on Thomas's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.

Ogre gets caught flat footed, as Thomas shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Ogre wriggles free and stands up.

Thomas rushes Ogre and presses him up against the cage.
Thomas jumps guard but Ogre stands there with Thomas around his waist. Thomas gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Terror Thomas comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
