Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Urban Urbansson (ranked 5937 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Brodie (ranked 5544 p4p, 0 weight class). Urbansson comes to the cage accompanied by Änglar - Raubtier. The crowd seem to be enjoying Brodie's choice of entrance music: Living Thing by ELO. Ryan Brodie has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Urban Urbansson's chin.

The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, George Francis and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Urbansson throws a lazy right hand but Brodie sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Brodie.
Brodie stands up.
Brodie shoots in and bounces Urbansson off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Brodie is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Brodie passes Urbansson's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Brodie is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Brodie seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Brodie thows a huge punch but Urbansson dodges it nicely.
Brodie slows the pace down in half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
It looks like Brodie might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Brodie is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Urbansson has managed to free his arm - good work.

Brodie works his foot free and advances to mount.
Brodie lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

The referee warns Urbansson that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Urbansson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Brodie on the ground.
Brodie postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Urbansson badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Brodie around the waist but Brodie pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Brodie is the winner by TKO! Brodie jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ryan Brodie!
