Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Denis Patrick (ranked 6091 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gabor Boraros (ranked 8117 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Patrick tries to sprawl but Boraros drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Boraros really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Patrick. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Patrick pushes Boraros off looking to stand but Boraros dives back in and keeps control.
Boraros wants to lay and pray for a moment but Patrick keeps working.
Patrick looks like he's trying to stand up.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Boraros closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Patrick's guard.

Patrick thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Boraros shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Boraros showed some decent athleticism there.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
