PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Tanner Pounds (ranked 3584 p4p, 302 weight class) and Ross Buchanan (ranked 4282 p4p, 339 weight class). Buchanan has chosen Roy Buchanan's Train Blues as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pounds looks to land a right hand but Buchanan moved out of range.
Pounds lands a nice leg kick that just misses Buchanan's sensitive parts.
Pounds looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Buchanan crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Pounds - the referee stops the clock and Buchanan gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Pounds. Buchanan manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
