The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Greene throws a right hand that misses
and Samuals counters with a nice uppercut.
Samuals lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Greene falls off balance throwing a combination
and Samuals counters with a three punch combo that has Greene backing up. Greene nods at Samuals to acknowledge the strikes.
Greene misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Samuals counters with a three punch combo that has Greene backing up. Greene nods at Samuals to acknowledge the strikes.
Samuals paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Greene misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Samuals lands a body shot.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Greene gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Samuals counters with a leg kick.
Samuals has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Nuclear Physiques in the buildup to the fight.
Greene takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Samuals lands a head shot.
Samuals throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Greene.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Greene has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Greene swings widly with a right hand
and Samuals counters with an inside leg kick.

Greene shoots in looking for a takedown but Samuals manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Greene's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Samuals.
Greene throws a series of punches but Samuals moves out of range.
Greene lands with a nice combination. Samuals backs away looking to recover.

Greene misses with a shot to the body
and Samuals counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

and Samuals counters with a nice uppercut.
Greene misses with a few strikes there.

This has been an exciting period of action!
No joy there for Greene, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Samuals connects with an inside leg kick.
Greene misses the body punch
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.

Samuals works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Samuals dodges the punch combination from Greene.
As Greene backs away, Samuals returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.
Samuals scores with a three punch combo!
Greene stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Samuals.
Samuals steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Greene.
Greene misses with a shot to the body

and Samuals counters with a head kick that drops Greene to the mat! Greene scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!
