Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Caidan Cartwright!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jack Diamond!
The judges for this bout are Josh West, Jeff Smith and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cartwright misses with a two punch combination.

Diamond feints and as Cartwright raises his hands in defense, Diamond changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Diamond wants to stand but Cartwright has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Diamond not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Diamond trying to stand up but can't free himself from Cartwright's guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cartwright keeping moving, preventing Diamond from controlling successfully.
Cartwright has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Diamond can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Diamond looking to sit in guard and control but Cartwright gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Diamond uses the cage to get back to his feet.

Cartwright lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Diamond at a distance.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Diamond enables Cartwright to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Diamond manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Cartwright stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Diamond swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Cartwright accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Cartwright lands a big head kick that sends Diamond tumbling to the mat! Cartwright takes a step backwards and waves Diamond back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Diamond is rocked!
It looks like Jack Diamond has been cut.

Cartwright feints with a left and delivers a massive head kick! Diamond collapses like a ragdoll! Game over!

After winning the bout, Caidan Cartwright thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
