Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Benjamin Bronckhorsten (ranked 3523 p4p, 442 weight class) and Unknown Combatant (ranked 2454 p4p, 326 weight class). Combatant has chosen Liberation as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Combatant shoots in but Bronckhorsten avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Bronckhorsten misses with an uppercut. Combatant saw that one coming.
Combatant throws a lazy head kick
and Combatant takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Bronckhorsten seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Combatant throws a push kick but Bronckhorsten slaps the foot to one side.
Bronckhorsten throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Horrible takedown attempt by Combatant or perhaps it was just good defense by Bronckhorsten, which made it look bad.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Combatant working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.
