Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nova Zigaman (ranked 266 p4p, 29 weight class) and Matt Hunt (ranked 336 p4p, 34 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Zigaman might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Cameo - Word Up!. Matt Hunt has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Nova Zigaman's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hunt throws a low kick but Zigaman moves out of range easily.
Hunt throws a hook but Zigaman blocks it.
Zigaman darts in looking for a takedown but Hunt gets double underhooks and turns Zigaman into the cage.
Hunt lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Zigaman drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Zigaman tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Zigaman has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Hunt is not content to let Zigaman control the position.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Zigaman wants to control the pace but Hunt is squirming around nicely.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Zigaman lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Hunt is squirming around, avoiding Zigaman's attempts to control the action.
Hunt is in a horrible position here. Zigaman smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Zigaman is working for a guillotine from mount but Hunt frees his head quite easily.
Zigaman wants to take his opponent's back but Hunt doesn't allow it.

We've been hearing that Zigaman has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.
Hunt is squirming around, avoiding Zigaman's attempts to control the action.

Zigaman goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Hunt is on top in guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Hunt slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Nova Zigaman dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Hunt throws a jab when Zigaman was well out of range.
Hunt tries a head kick but it misses.
Zigaman tries to close the distance and clinch but Hunt swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Hunt with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Hunt throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Zigaman appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Zigaman moves out of range as Hunt strikes.
Zigaman misses with a few strikes there.
Hunt flicks out a counter leg kick but Zigaman steps away.

It looks like Nova Zigaman has been cut.
Hunt throws a jab but it's blocked by Zigaman.

Hunt moves away from the strike by Zigaman.
Hunt wants to land a leg kick but Zigaman is out of range.
Hunt uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Zigaman.
Zigaman misses with a hook
and Hunt counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Hunt misses the jab.
Zigaman is looking to counter with head kicks.
Hunt throws a front kick aimed at Zigaman's knee but Zigaman avoids it well.
Zigaman fires out a quick counter leg kick but Hunt just manages to avoid it.

Hunt misses with an uppercut. Zigaman saw that one coming.
Hunt is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Zigaman.

Hunt scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Hunt lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Zigaman has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Zigaman and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Zigaman closes this distance looking for a takedown but Hunt circles away.
And Hunt responds with a good body kick, but Zigaman manages to step out the way in time.
Hunt cracks Zigaman with a right hand to the side of the head.
Matt Hunt seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Hunt lands a big uppercut and Zigaman crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Zigaman looks OK. Hunt waves Zigaman back to his feet!

Zigaman is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Zigaman is aggressively charging in as Hunt backs up avoiding any damage. Hunt tosses out a jab and Zigaman runs right into it face first! Zigaman is out cold! Hunt dropped down on all fours and is barking in Zigaman's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:41 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Matt Hunt!
Our winner, Matt Hunt, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
The defeated Nova Zigaman had this to say: 'You may have won the battle tonight but you haven't won the war. Tonight you were lucky... it will never happen again. The referee was all over you tonight... what did you do? Get on your hands and knees before the fight? 9/10 I will destroy you.'.
