The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cartwright moves into the clinch successfully.
Cartwright lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.

Cartwright is nestled in close to OSullivan, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Cartwright looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
OSullivan is trying to stand.
OSullivan is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Cartwright scores with a couple of nice shots.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Cartwright is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

OSullivan is rocked!
OSullivan really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cartwright. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Cartwright lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt OSullivan quite badly. OSullivan pulls Cartwright in close trying to recover. Cartwright postures up and lands two really hard shots that put OSullivan on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but OSullivan doesn't seem to be complaining too much.

A relieved looking Clint Cartwright thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
