The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Heritageaka fails with the takedown
and Orion counters with a nice uppercut.
Heritageaka looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Orion is fending him off so far but Heritageaka persists. Nope, Orion circles away and we're back to standing.
Orion bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Heritageaka's head.

Orion stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Orion wants it to stay on the feet.
Cole Orion has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tchalla Heritageaka.

and Orion counters with a left to the body.

Tchalla Heritageaka seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A nice inside leg kick there by Orion. That's going to slow Heritageaka down.

and Orion counters with a nice low kick that buckles Heritageaka's knee momentarily.

Orion throws a head kick that half lands.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Orion enables Heritageaka to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Orion manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Orion wants to sweep but no luck.
Heritageaka scores with a decent looking elbow strike.

Heritageaka stays in close to Orion's body and controls the position.
Heritageaka throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Orion works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Heritageaka's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Heritageaka scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Heritageaka in particular looking to stall.
Heritageaka moves into full mount! Orion won't be happy about that!

Orion is bucking up trying to escape but Heritageaka cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Orion is breathing heavily.

Heritageaka lands a big shot to the head and Orion winces in pain. He's tapped out due to strikes!
