Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jim Slim (ranked 7941 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jacob De Guzman (ranked 7612 p4p, 0 weight class). Jacob De Guzman will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Daniel Franklin and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De Guzman shoots in and gets a takedown into Slim's guard.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

De Guzman tries to score a power double leg takedown but Slim sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten De Guzman somewhat.
Jacob De Guzman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Jacob De Guzman showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
Slim has taken the fight to the clinch.
De Guzman breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
De Guzman darts in looking for a takedown but Slim gets double underhooks and turns De Guzman into the cage.
De Guzman shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Slim as he jumps to the side.
Slim throws a big counter combination but De Guzman scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Nice takedown defense from Slim. No joy for De Guzman on that attempt.
