The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Warmerdammer throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

and Ramano counters with a shoot takedown. Warmerdammer fights it but they end up in guard.
Ramano chips away with some ground and pound.
Ramano passes easily into side control. Nice work.

Warmerdammer really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ramano. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Ramano lands a good shot there. Warmerdammer covers up! Ramano smells blood and goes for the finish - the referee warns Warmerdammer to improve his position but he's not intelligently defending himself and the referee has no choice but to step in and end the fight! Ramano jumps to his feet and celebrates the important win with his cornermen!
