Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Shamil Gasanov!
The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Valeri Chadov and Illya Tyunina.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pablo shoots in and bounces Gasanov off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Pablo works over Gasanov with some ground and pound from guard.
Gasanov controls Pablo momentarily but Pablo frees himself.
Pablo throws a big right hand that misses.
Gasanov wants to stand up but Pablo is controlling him.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Pablo trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Pablo is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Pablo stands up from Gasanov's guard - Pablo perhaps looking for a knockout.

Pablo gets a clinch.
Gasanov changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Pablo fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Pablo bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Pablo cracks Gasanov with a big elbow.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gasanov tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Pablo wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Pablo decides to take the fight back to the feet.

Pablo bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Pablo is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Gasanov is trying to escape and Pablo transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Gasanov is forced to tap! Nice work there by Pablo! Very nice indeed!
