Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Wale Ammond (ranked 2094 p4p, 247 weight class) and Samuel Gervais (ranked 2657 p4p, 300 weight class). Ammond comes to the cage accompanied by Bad. Gervais comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Arcade Fire - Ready to Start kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Samuel Gervais told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice uppercut there from Gervais.
An inside leg kick from Ammond misses.
A jab from Gervais finds it's way through Ammond's defenses.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Gervais! Ammond is out on his feet! Gervais rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Ammond is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Ammond is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Samuel Gervais!
Samuel Gervais seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
