PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kevin Huang (ranked 536 p4p, 64 weight class) and Josh Cook (ranked 1851 p4p, 187 weight class). Huang's entrance music is Nelly - The Champ. A fine choice. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Josh Cook was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Josh Cook!
The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Sergei Dronov and Fedor Mirinova.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Huang moves into the clinch successfully.
Huang has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Cook is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Huang thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Huang has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Huang is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Cook doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Huang.
