The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Splinter shoots and misses
and DeCastro counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Splinter wants to clinch
and DeCastro makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
DeCastro looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Splinter clinches.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
DeCastro tries to break the clinch but Splinter is controlling the position.

As Splinter looks to move away, DeCastro throws a big counter combo but Splinter just gets out of the way.
David DeCastro has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Master Splinter.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Splinter.
Splinter changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. DeCastro tries to avoid it but Splinter manages to keep hold of a leg and drag DeCastro to the ground. DeCastro escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
As Splinter looks to move away, DeCastro throws a big counter combo but Splinter just gets out of the way.
Splinter looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
