Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ken Shamrock (ranked 3664 p4p, 297 weight class) and Jargon Gin (ranked 7171 p4p, 431 weight class). Jargon Gin will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shamrock throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Gin counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Shamrock throws a jab when Gin was well out of range.
Shamrock throws a body punch but Gin moves out of range.
Gin walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Shamrock takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Gin lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Ken Shamrock seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Shamrock throws a sloppy body shot
and Gin counters with a nice body shot.
Shamrock throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Shamrock cracks a nice hook into Gin's ribs.

Gin rushes Shamrock and presses him up against the cage.
Gin lands a hook to the side of the head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Gin breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Gin instigates a clinch.
Shamrock wants to get back to striking at distance but Gin won't allow it.
Gin is leaning against Shamrock and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
Shamrock is breathing heavily.
Nice body punch from Gin - that landed with a thud.
Gin digs a right hand underneath Shamrock's ribcage. Shamrock let out a lung full of air as it connected.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Gin.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Gin breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Gin darts in and clinches Shamrock up against the cage.
Gin lands a right hand that snaps the head of Shamrock backwards.

Gin prevents a body shot from Shamrock.
Gin throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Gin works on Shamrock's body with a couple of short punches.
Gin digs a right hand underneath Shamrock's ribcage. Shamrock let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Gin digs a right hand into Shamrock's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Shamrock's gas tank.
Gin lands a body shot in the clinch.
Gin lands an uppercut.
Gin throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Shamrocks head.
A short body shot lands from Gin as the two fighters clinch.
Gin stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Gin lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Gin lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
Gin lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

Gin breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Gin lands a big right hand that sends Shamrock crashing to the mat! Gin stays standing though and waves Shamrock back to his feet!
Gin circles away before darting back in with a big straight right hand. It connects beautifully and sends Shamrock tumbling to the canvas! He's out cold! Gin wins by KO!
