Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ed Cohen (ranked 6334 p4p, 594 weight class) and Manu Shikar (ranked 6205 p4p, 559 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Ed Cohen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Manu Shikar!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Matti Vanhoillinen and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cohen tries to clinch there but Shikar circles away.
Cohen pushes Shikar up against the cage in a clinch.
Cohen is trying to pull guard but Shikar turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Cohen really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Shikar is pressed up against the cage. Cohen has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Shikar down to the mat. Shikar avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Shikar stuffs the takedown attempt from Cohen. Cohen gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ed Cohen. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Shikar feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Cohen's calf.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Shikar.
Shikar tries for a takedown but Cohen sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Cohen half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Cohen tries to clinch up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cohen drives through with a takedown into Shikar's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Shikar trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!
Cohen scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Shikar is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Cohen lands a couple of elbows.
Cohen will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Shikar thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Shikar wants to stand but Cohen is controlling the position.
Shikar wants to sweep here but Cohen controlling him for the moment.
Shikar pushes Cohen off and gets back to his feet.
Shikar looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Cohen gets a takedown into half guard.
Cohen passes to full mount!
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Shikar can't escape the position.
You get the feeling that Shikar really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Shikar really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cohen. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Shikar looks winded!
Shikar is trying to stand but he's not in a good position to be doing that! Cohen has taken his back!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Cohen is working on the RNC. He looks like he's got it but Shikar won't tap... Oh, he's out! The ref rips Cohen off his unconscious opponent!
