The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Weecharangsan dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Diaz. That did some damage!
Weecharangsan bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Diaz's head backwards.
Weecharangsan blocks a low kick nicely.
Diaz tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Diaz throws a sloppy head kick and Weecharangsan moves out of range easily.
Weecharangsan looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Diaz misses with a wild combination.
Weecharangsan wants to counter the offense by Diaz and move into the clinch position.

Diaz falls off balance throwing a combination
and Weecharangsan counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Weecharangsan buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Weecharangsan lands a right hook to the body.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Diaz throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
We've been told by Diaz's head coaches at Cozad MMA London that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Weecharangsan lunges at Diaz with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Diaz's hand.
Diaz takes one to the chin there.
Weecharangsan lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Diaz falls backwards - clearly groggy! Weecharangsan dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!

A relieved looking Chakrii Weecharangsan thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
