Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tuccio Turturro (ranked 3399 p4p, 361 weight class) and William Scout (ranked 7683 p4p, 592 weight class). William Scout will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Tuccio Turturro!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, William Scout!
The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Santiago Holmes and Dirk Anderson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Turturro throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Scout tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Turturro is in Scout's guard.
Scout can't keep his opponent in guard - Turturro advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Turturro is working for a kimura but Scout is defending it quite comfortably.

Turturro is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Scout has managed to free his arm - good work.
Turturro wants to take a breather but Scout is having none of it.
Turturro passes the guard and advances to mount!
Turturro wants to control the pace but Scout is squirming around nicely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Turturro looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.

Turturro is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Scout can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Turturro definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Turturro takes his opponent's back. Perhaps a chance to lock up a rear naked choke here.
Scout rolls, trying to escape but Turturro keeps control of the position.

Turturro working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet.

Turturro is looking for a rear naked choke here but Scout reverses the position brilliantly into Turturro's guard!
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Turturro is on top in guard.

Our spies down at at ELITE Island Gym - 19 Elite Coaches inform us that Scout has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Scout looking for a guillotine here but Turturro defends easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Scout trying to keep a closed guard but Turturro is proving a slippery customer.
Turturro is pushing down on Scout's leg trying to pass to half guard. Scout is fighting to maintain full guard but Turturro has managed to sneak the leg through.
Turturro is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Scout!

Scout tries to hold on but Turturro pushes him away.
Scout is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Turturro can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Scout is looking to escape.

Turturro goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Scout is on top in guard.

Turturro looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Scout avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Turturro working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Scout doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Scout manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Turturro is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Turturro has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Scout should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Turturro has tightened it up now! Scout should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!

Tuccio Turturro decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
