Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Matt Kroblur (ranked 392 p4p, 58 weight class) and Akoni Gray (ranked 603 p4p, 86 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Gregory Folan and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Matt Kroblur seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kroblur stalks Gray and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Gray's face. Gray staggers backwards, shaken.
It looks like Akoni Gray has been cut.

Akoni Gray decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
