Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jake Rome (ranked 5288 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ichi Yakuza (ranked 15907 p4p, 0 weight class). Yakuza is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by The Legend of Zelda, Overworld. Ichi Yakuza looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rome will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Yakuza looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
The fighters circling - Rome throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Yakuza uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Rome.

Rome gets a double leg takedown into Yakuza's guard.
Rome chips away with some ground and pound.
Rome with a nice head shot there.
Yakuza being controlled here, momentarily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Rome lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Yakuza is rocked!
Rome will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Rome is pushing down on Yakuza's leg trying to pass to half guard. Yakuza is fighting to maintain full guard but Rome has managed to sneak the leg through.
Yakuza is still in real trouble! Can Rome finish him?
Rome lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Yakuza! More strikes land and this one is all over! Rome jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!

Jake Rome decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
