The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Day defending well as Matsunaga loads up on a big left hand.
Nice shot lands for Day.
A head kick misses from Day.
Day jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Matsunaga misses with a lunging right hand
and Day counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Day looks to land a left hand but Matsunaga moved out of range nicely.

Day throws an off balance right hand
and Matsunaga counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Matsunaga ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Matsunaga no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Matsunaga escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Day gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Matsunaga has his feet on Day's thighs here. He's pushed Day off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Day screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
