The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lomachenko swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Pavlo counters with a nice double leg into side control. Lomachenko won't be happy with that.

Pavlo tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lomachenko is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Pavlo has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Pavlo thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Pavlo prevents Lomachenko from escaping the position.

Pavlo is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Lomachenko is trying to escape and Pavlo transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Lomachenko is forced to tap! Nice work there by Pavlo! Very nice indeed!
