Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Irshaad Sayed (ranked 1170 p4p, 125 weight class) and Piotr Hermano (ranked 3006 p4p, 269 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Eddie Farnsworth and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sayed paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Sayed tries a low kick but Hermano avoids it.
Sayed misses with a double jab.
Hermano tries to counter by closing the distance.
Hermano throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Sayed on the side of the head.
Sloppy strikes from Hermano. Those never looked like landing.

Sayed has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Hermano takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

Sayed ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Hermano misses with a looping right.
Sayed throws the left hand but Hermano avoids the punch easily.
Hermano connects with a crisp jab.

Sayed feints and then cracks Hermano's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Hermano down.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Hermano shoots for a takedown but Sayed saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Hermano on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Sayed pushing out the jab but it's not landing.

Hermano throws a body shot but no joy.
Sayed lands with a nice combination. Hermano backs away looking to recover.
Sayed throws a head kick that half lands.
Sayed scores with a jab. Hermano acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Hermano drives through and clinches with Sayed against the cage.
Hermano lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Sayed pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Sayed missing with a left hand there. Hermano was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Hermano lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Sayed darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Hermano staying out of range there.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Sayed swings for the body but Hermano moves out of range.
Sayed cracks Hermano with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Hermano fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Sayed on the side of the head.

and Hermano cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Hermano takes a jab right on the kisser.
Sayed misses with a right hand
and Hermano counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Sayed is rocked!
A big right followed by a crushing left from Hermano knocks Sayed out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!
