Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Bastyn Dall (ranked 479 p4p, 62 weight class) and Brody Kavanagh (ranked 432 p4p, 59 weight class). Dall comes to the cage accompanied by Beast. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are James Glass, Daniel Bishop and Richard Clark.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kavanagh digs a good body shot into Dall's ribs.
Dall throws an overhand right that lands on Kavanagh's shoulder, as Kavanagh tries to avoid the shot.
Kavanagh pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Kavanagh misses with a leg kick.
Kavanagh throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Dall counters with a stiff right hand.

Dall shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Kavanagh is trying to keep Dall in close.
Dall looking to sit in guard and control but Kavanagh gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Kavanagh is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Dall bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Kavanagh's guard.

Dall stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kavanagh swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Dall closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Kavanagh did well to prevent Dall getting side control.
