Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Thomas Jackson (ranked 4909 p4p, 458 weight class) and Harvey Smithson (ranked 4570 p4p, 436 weight class). Jackson comes to the cage accompanied by Dixie. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson defending well as Smithson loads up on a big left hand.
Jackson was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Smithson fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Smithson dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Smithson misses with a hook
and Jackson counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Smithson scores with a shot to the body.
Jackson is breathing heavily.
Smithson throws a hook but Jackson blocks it.
Jackson takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Jackson doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
A jab from Smithson misses.
Smithson lands with a shot to the body.
Smithson feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Jacksons jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Smithson drops Jackson with a beautiful combination! Jackson stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Smithson is looking for the KO!
It looks like Thomas Jackson has been cut.
Smithson lands with a cross.
Jackson is rocked!
Smithson is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Smithson drops Jackson with a huge uppercut! Jackson drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Smithson is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Harvey Smithson!
